Fatihah is an important prayer in the Islamic religion, also known as the "Opening" or the "Opening of the Book". The word Fatihah has several synonyms in the Arabic language, such as Suratul-Hamid or Surah al-Fatiha, meaning "the chapter of praise or commendation." It is also called Ummul-Quran (the mother of the Quran), Sab'ul-Mathani (the seven repeated verses), and Ash-Shifa (the cure), indicating its vital role in Islam and its significance in the lives of Muslims. At the beginning of every daily prayer, Muslims recite this prayer to commence their worship and seek guidance and blessings from Allah.
