Anecdotalist, a word used to describe a person who shares or collects anecdotal stories, can be expressed in a variety of different ways. It can be referred to as a storyteller, yarn-spinner, raconteur, anecdote collector, remembrancer, or chronicler. These words all relate to the telling of stories, whether they're true or fictional. A narrator, memoirist, historian, or biographer could also be considered synonyms for an anecdotalist.
